How often does my community's email digest go out, and what goes in it?
The digest is the email that brings members back to your community. It starts on Automatic, which sends daily while your community is busy and on Mondays when it is quiet, and it always shows posts from different people. About a minute to change.

It counts the posts and the people in your last 7 days, and says what Automatic is doing right now: sending daily, or on Mondays.

Choose how often
Automatic sends daily while at least 7 posts from at least 3 different people went up in the last 7 days, and on Mondays otherwise. Daily suits a busy community and Weekly (Mondays) a quieter one.

Know what your members get
The best posts since their last digest, one per person: 3 in a daily digest, 5 in a weekly one, with a line such as Rebecca also posted 1 more for anyone who posted more. A live you ran comes first when you posted its replay, and no digest is sent when nothing new happened.

One post per person, and a line for the rest.

Can I approve new members before they get into my community?
Yes. Switch on approval and anyone who asks to join waits in a Requests list in Members until you let them in, the way a private LinkedIn or Facebook group works. People you invite, and people who pay, still go straight in. About five minutes to set up.
Can I change a member's post before I approve it?
No. A post waiting for your approval can only be approved or rejected, so you cannot change a member's words. If a few words need changing, approve it and add a comment, or message the member and reject it.
Can I change the words in the posts Maya wrote before I approve them?
Yes. Open the post from Drafts on your Feed, press Edit, change the words and press Save changes. What you save is what goes out when you approve it. About a minute.
