Can I use Outreach on Instagram or X?

No. Today Outreach works on LinkedIn only, through your own account.

Updated 19 October 2026

Nothing about Instagram or X changes your LinkedIn Outreach: your sources and the drafts you approve stay as they are.
  1. Use LinkedIn today

Outreach watches influencers and groups on LinkedIn, and works through your own LinkedIn account using the Chrome extension. That's the whole of it.

The sources you watch are LinkedIn influencers and groups.

  2. Leave Instagram and X alone

Outreach does nothing on Instagram or X. There's nothing to set up for either and no setting to turn on.

  3. Set up LinkedIn well

The work is about who your audience listens to. Choosing the right sources, and approving enough drafts that your Replicant learns your voice, is what makes Outreach work on LinkedIn.

You will know it worked when you know LinkedIn is what works today, and that there is nothing to set up for Instagram or X.

Do I need a LinkedIn account to use Replicants?

No. Almost everything works without LinkedIn: your community, Courses, Products, Subscribers and email, Funnels and Website. Only Outreach needs it, because it finds people on LinkedIn and connects with them from your own profile.

Do my new connections get a welcome email automatically?

Yes. If you use Outreach, every new connection gets a welcome email by itself, as soon as we have their email address. No LinkedIn welcome message is sent to anyone today, so the email does that job. One screen shows you both, in about two minutes.

How does Outreach turn strangers into community members?

Outreach finds people who have recently shown an interest in the problem you solve, gets your name in front of them on LinkedIn, and brings the ones who say yes into your community. Most of it runs by itself. Your part is a few minutes a day approving comments, and then making new members feel welcome.
