Every tool on one page
What can I do with Courses?
Everything a course can do for you and your students, each with its own page.
See them all →The tools that keep students going until the last lesson. Most are one switch each.
Your course has a tool for students who drift off, get stuck or feel alone, and you switch them all on or off in one place: Delivery, at the top of your course.
Press Delivery at the top of your course, then Change beside How modules open, pick one of three answers and press Save.
Every student gets My course, their own page for your course, with the next lesson one press away.
A student stuck at 10pm has nobody to ask.
Switch on Their own plan on the Delivery screen, and each student answers a few quick questions and gets a dated plan: which lesson, which day, what time.
Switch on Quick checks, then press Write the first one: Maya drafts two questions from the lesson and you approve them.
Study buddies pairs each student with someone on the same course who studies at the same times, so somebody notices when they stop.
Every lesson has its own Discussion underneath it, where students ask a question or share a win while it is fresh, and you answer them all from one page.
When a student finishes your last lesson they see a trophy and Course complete, can get a certificate with their name on it, and are emailed to say well done.
Gentle nudges send one email to a student who goes quiet, pointing at the lesson they stopped on.
An intake is a group of students who start together on a date you set, so they move through the course side by side.
Set the hours you are free and students book a 1:1 call with you from their course page, in their own time zone.
Press Preview as a student to see your course the way a student will, then press Publish, and Publish in the box.
Open your course, press Plan & content, then Open.
Open your course, press Look, then Change the look.
A picture inside a lesson comes out with one key: click just after it and press Backspace.
Open the lesson from the Your course page, press the part you want on the left (Video, Downloads, Slides or Audio), and add your file.
Open an empty lesson, press Ask Maya to write it, then Just write it or tell her what to use.
Right after a change, press Undo on the message at the bottom, or Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on a Mac).
Open your course, press the three dots at the top, then Duplicate this course, then Duplicate.
Press Publish changes at the top of your course, then Publish in the box.
Once your course is live, its Overview shows how the week went, who needs you today and where students get stuck.
Press Delivery on your course, then Open beside Who needs you: the students most likely to stop, why, and an email ready for each.
Press See sticking points on your course's Overview to find the lessons people start and do not finish.
Press Read the conversations on your course's Overview, open a question under Waiting for you, and reply as yourself.
Press Analytics at the top of your course: sales, students, progress, video and your AI tools, for the dates you pick.
Press Students on your course, then Add a student, and choose who: one person, a group, your community, or email addresses.
Press Students on your course, then Email your students: choose who, write it, preview it, send it.
Press Emails at the top of your course to see every email it sends without you, when each goes, and its switch.
Selling a course happens on one page, called Selling: choose Paid, set your price, test it, and choose where buyers land.
Choose Paid, type your price and save it, then connect Stripe, the company that takes card payments and pays them into your bank, and press Start selling.
Add a payment plan, a subscription with a free trial, or something you already sell beside your price, and buyers pick one on your payment page.
Make a code such as EARLYBIRD that takes a percentage or an amount off, and buyers type it on your payment page.
A new price starts in test mode, so you can buy your own course with Stripe’s test card and nobody is charged.
Set the most people for an intake and choose what happens when it is full: show it as full, keep a waiting list, take payment when a place opens, or offer the next intake.
Your course shop is one page that sells all your courses: choose what is on show, the order, the one at the top and the words above them.
Once your course is live, Get students in on Publishing has its link, posts for your networks and your community, and a way to add people yourself.
Open the student, press ⋯, then Their order and refund, and press Refund.
